FACES NIGHTCLUB - SACRAMENTO, CA


This well known existing facility decided to add on over 5000 square feet of dance floor in a two story configuration. The circular dance floor and changes in ceiling elevations provided us with opportunities to create custom lighting fixtures and really accent the architecture. The audio system is completely QSC and provides for an incredibly transparent dance floor experience. Two dual 18" subwoofers are floor mounted vertically inside glass block enclosures and 12" 2 way 120 degree boxes make up the mid-high configuration. The upper level VIP area is covered by 8" 2 way QSC enclosures along with single 15" subwoofers to "warm" the space even more. The exterior patio and other public areas use the AD-S52T series for a consistent level in all areas.

The lighting features custom designed fabric wrapped trussing lit from within via Acclaim RGB X-Sticks. The other obvious departure from the norm are the seven custom "Color Chimes", which are fabric wrapped steel frames lit internally by Elation 250 watt Vision Colors.

The rest of the system is comprised of 12 Elation Vision Scan 250's, 4 Power Spot 575's, 8 Design Spot 250's and 8 Design Spot 250's. There are also 4 Proton Color Strobes just for a little sparkle!

More visual is provided by an Antari Fog machine and an Antari Hazer.

The video is sourced by multiple satellite receivers, an in-house advertising computer, a Sony PTZ camera and dual Pioneer DVD players. The main matrix switching is RS232 touch screen capable via a Kramer 16 x 16 device.

This club has been awarded the regional Best Dance Club multiple times..we figure it will continue to do the same in the future.
