As many educational facilities find the need for spaces to become multi-functional, they also realize that the acoustical qualities for each purpose may be more critical. This private school gymnasium required a much shorter reverb time to function well to gain intelligibility for general assembly speeches.
Budget, functionand aesthetics are always challenging for priority on any given project. But here, RD was able to provide dozens of specifically place Auralex CT-44 panels to significantly improve the acoustics. The custom fabric chosen by the client worked well within the parameters of the areas color scheme makeover. Custom mounting safely secured all panels to meet OSHA Zone 4 requirements, as well as protect them from daily volleyball and basketball activities.
