Motif was a challenging and unique project both because of its’ size and because of the interior designers’ exacting requirements. Utilizing our expertise in LED lighting FX and audio system management, RD was able to provide a low maintenance but very high performance system.
Two dance floors (one with occasional live performance) were integrated together with customized DSP programming and multiple remote control stations. Automated level controls for day time and dining audio levels were also implemented. The lighting system was also programmed to provide “one button” playback for several early evening looks and gentle “archi-tainment” visual transitions.
The unusual vinyl “French Ceiling” provided a great palette for the upper level dance floor lighting. Mr. Important was the interior designer on the project and left no detail untouched with specialty LED lighting. The back bar locations were custom designed with frosted glass and stainless elements and made the simplest amber lighting look perfect.
The custom aluminum chain elements and the black “crystal” chandelier provide spectacular components to the space and once again made the LED lighting really payoff.
Dining or dancing, Motif is another example of RD creative product installation.
