Everything is bigger and better in Texas and Thrive nightclub is no exception.
The audio system is as near perfection as we’ve ever built. The background system consists of sixteen Meyer Sound MM4 series cube speakers and four Meyer Sound dual 10” powered subwoofers. The main system consists of six Meyer Sound UPJ powered cabinets and two Meyer Sound dual 15” subwoofers. There is also an additional bi-amped system for the waiting line hall way consisting of recessed QSC 8” speakers and QSC recessed subwoofers powered by QSC CX series amplification.
The system processing is managed by a pair of Symetrix DSP 8 x 8 and remotely controlled via Symnet wall stations.
The main zones consist of main dance area, bar and restaurant lounge. Each area has access to one of two DJ mix outputs, satellite TV or hotel background music sources.
The video system is also exceptional, featuring two recessed motorized 16:9 screens and Sanyo 5000 lumen projectors, eight 50” LCD monitors and a remarkable 10 projector system that covers the round glass wall in the bar area. Everything is source selectable through a Kramer component video matrix switcher. Triple Head-To-Go devices group the round bar projectors for an excellent visual surround effect from computer sourced video.
The lighting throughout consists of approximately two hundred (yes, two hundred) custom modified Illuminarc RGB LED 21 lamp architectural fixtures to light translucent fabric between the glass wall partitions. Movement is provided by sixteen Elation Design Wash LED Pro fixtures, while architectural details are lit with Acclaim X-bar and Acclaim recessed LED fixtures.
While the main programming console is an Elation Show Designer 2CF, there are two Elation DMX recorder playback controllers, two Elation DD-WM6 wall mount Data distribution amps, and an A/B Doug Fleenor DMX selector for infinite control possibilities.
