Discovery Church
Long term commitment to a project means long term commitment to quality relationships with clients. Real Life Church was just such a project. The church was highly committed to its’ opportunity to “own” their audio, lighting and video systems, rather than simply pay for them. This made all the difference in the long run.
Once in a great while, RD has the good fortune to work with demanding clients that understand what they want and why they want it. With very capable AV teams in place, Real Life Church was able to make a flawless transition from being a “portable” church into something awesome and permanent. Relying on long term industry relationships, RD was able to work on this project for almost 2 ½ years and bring together a budget and equipment list that satisfied everyone involved.
Four JBL line array clusters are complimented by four dual 18” subwoofers beneath the stage and are all powered by Crown amplifiers and “tweaked” via BSS processing. The FOH Crest Vi6 is complimented on stage with a Crest Vi4 for monitor mixes. AKG wireless systems account for most of the on-stage mics.
The 9’ x 16’ video screens are lit up by a pair of Christie Roadie projectors, while most of the house and video monitor distribution are Panasonic commercial monitors w/ HD-SDI cards inserted.
The lighting is a prefect mixture of Elation Opti-RGB LED pars, Elation Design Spot 575 moving yokes, Chauvet Legend 575 moving yokes, and a vast array of ETC Source four lekos, Source Four Pars and conventional Par 64 fixtures. Stage and house dimming is all Lightronics AR-1202 12 x 2.4K wall mounted units and controlled by multiple wall stations and an Elation Show Designer console.
RD also provided approximately seventy 4’ x 8’ Auralex panels for the walls and approximately 30 4’ x 8’ Auralex ceiling banners for acoustic treatment. We love to be of service!
